Keeping your website content fresh and alive is essential if you are going to have repeat visitors. 

We ensure that all our sites have elements that can be updated by anyone who can use a word processor.
Some sites are database driven and can be entirely maintained from a simple to use backend.

We will also be happy to do updates for you.
The following are the functions that will need to be addressed.

What needs to be done

• You must provide reasons for new visitors to call and for them to return often to your site - regular special offers, new articles or news, expanded resources.
  Think of your brand new site as a beginning - not an end in itself.
• Search engine rankings must be checked regularly and pages altered if necessary to improve ratings.
  This will be an ongoing effort and needs to be repeated on a regular basis, at least quarterly and preferably monthly.
• News, upcoming events, details of new products or services, new links etc. will need to be added on a regular basis to your site.

Updating the Site Yourself

There are several ways that updating can be tackled by you or your staff:

• We can build a complete backend for your site enabling it to be quickly and easily updated by anyone with minimal training.
• You can learn to use a HTML editor - such as FrontPage or Dreamweaver - and do the updating yourself.
  The basic techniques required will be quickly learned by anyone familiar with word processing.
  We can create your site so that it is compatible with the editor of your choice.

Our Maintenance Service

Some elements of your site - such as the addition of major new sections or pages which require a change of the navigation system, may require intervention on our part.
We can also handle day to day maintenance of the site if you wish us to. B&BD
